1% Home-buyer Rebate: If you are buying a home between $ 400,000 and $ 999,999 you will receive a 1% Home-buyer Rebate that will be credited from Powerhouse Realty Group to use toward your closing cost. This is for any property that is listed with any company and Powerhouse is representing you, provided the minimum commission paid to Powerhouse is 3%.
Example: If you purchase a home that’s contracted for $ 750,000 that means you will receive a $7,500 buyer rebate from Powerhouse. The rebate may be adjusted if the seller is paying less than the traditional 3%. Rebates are permitted in NY State.
1.5% Home-buyer Rebate: If you are buying a home that’s $ 1,000,000 or more, you will receive a 1.5% Home-buyer Rebate that will be credited from Powerhouse Realty to use toward your closing cost. This is for any property that is listed with any company and Powerhouse is representing you, provided the minimum commission paid to Powerhouse is 3%.
Example: If you purchase a home that’s contracted for $1,200,000 that means you will receive a $ 18,000 buyer rebate from Powerhouse. That’s based on the Powerhouse Agent receiving the traditional 3% commission. The rebate may be adjusted if the seller is paying less than the standard.
The amount of your Home-buyer Rebate will be calculated based on the package you choose. You will automatically see how much you will get by using a Powerhouse Agent to represent you.
